'Coronil': A Potential Medicine That Elevates Idiocy

    People are dying, due to lack of oxygen, lack of beds, and lack of vaccination. Doctors, nurses and other medical staffs are doing their best to save lives. Since the first wave of COVID-19, we have lost many doctors, nurses, and other health workers due to the COVID pandemic. India is leading the statistics of the COVID pandemic. But for people like baba Ramdev, everything seems to be a joke. From mocking patients to referring the modern medicine as "stupid science"  he has performed every single act of ignorance and stupidity. The doctors who are the frontline fighters of this pandemic are accused by yoga guru of being money mongers. He does not even think twice before mocking the doctors who have died trying to save their patients. On a television broadcast, he said with a smiling face, "even after taking two doses of vaccination thousands of doctors died. What is the utility of these doctors if they cannot even save their own lives?"

    I have a cousin who is a nurse and a friend who works as a health worker in a Govt. hospital. I have seen them working from morning to evening at a stretch trying to save a patient, trying to arrange for oxygen and bed for patients. I cannot imagine how much heartbroken they are hearing these stupid words of this stupid yoga guru. I cannot imagine the level of anger and frustration the families, who have lost their dear ones due to COVID, are going through because of such remarks.

  IMA, AIIMS, and Safdurjung Medical Institution have filed complain against baba Ramdev. Doctors, nurses, and health workers from all over India are expressing their annoyance against this fraud who claims that his ayurvedic Coronil has the potential to kill the coronavirus. May be these insensitive and stupid remarks are the effects of taking 'Coronil'. Doctor Jayesh Lele and doctor Rahul Vargav have thrashed baba openly on a news channel. 

 

    Though Babaji has withdrawn his comments after being reprimanded by Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan for his 'objectionable and unfortunate' comments, as a responsible citizen, I feel that we should raise our voice to the highest peak against such frauds and their insensitive remarks so that this kind of people would not dare to make such comments in future.
